Certified ScrumMaster to Provide Facility Management and Environmental Health and Safety Program Support to Global Manufacturing Clients
Since 2010, Barbara has served as independent management consultant, working on an array of projects in the environmental services, healthcare, nonprofit and education industries. During this time, she has worked with The Isosceles Group on several projects, including providing onsite EHS Program Management Support, overseeing and streamlining the ISO 14001 recertification process for a global manufacturing client, and managing a large-scale regulatory compliance program.
“Barbara has an array of skills that you rarely find in one individual,” says Isosceles founder and CEO Richard DiNitto. “She is a phenomenal project manager—especially on complex projects with a lot of moving parts. But she also has extensive marketing and communication experience and excellent presentation skills. As if that wasn’t enough, she also has a strong EHS background. This makes her particularly valuable to our clients who need someone who can communicate across departments and to a variety of constituencies.”
As Senior Program Manager, Barbara’s first engagement will be to provide real estate, insurance, environmental and facility management support for Sensata, a global producer of sensors and controls for manufacturers in the automotive, appliance, aircraft, industrial and HVAC markets. Sensata owns or leases more than 120 properties worldwide. Barbara will design and develop a program to manage the sales, acquisitions, leases, insurance requirements, permits, registrations, and environmental management of each of these facilities. She will be the liaison between the various vendors and the Global EHS Manager and will make presentations to the Board as required. This is the type of high-level service our clients have come to expect.
Barbara has a B.A. in Geology from Amherst College and is a Certified ScrumMaster with the Scrum Alliance, a nonprofit membership association that supports the effective practice of Scrum, an Agile project management framework for completion of complex projects with rapidly changing, highly emergent requirements. If you have a complex project to manage, Barbara has the experience, education and expertise to help you. You can reach her by phone at (617) 330-2800 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
