Environmental Law Attorney to Provide Legal Research and Analysis to Support Regulatory Compliance Initiatives Boston, MA—The Isosceles Group, an environmental health and safety management firm, is pleased to welcome Brittany Tofinchio Palmer to the firm. An environmental law attorney, Brittany has worked for both the Federal Mine Safety & Health Review Commission and the Environmental Protection Agency and has gained invaluable regulatory compliance experience.
Over the course of her career, Brittany has worked on a variety of environmental law projects. She has drafted storm water management legislation, gathered evidence against companies for Clean Water Act violations, and researched legal issues for health and safety civil penalty cases and employment discrimination cases. Brittany also advises a manufacturing and a commercial installation company on workplace procedures and legal issues. “Brittany’s background and capabilities are a real asset to our firm,” says Isosceles founder and CEO Richard DiNitto. “Her experience on both the enforcement and client-side of regulatory compliance will be invaluable in understanding the complexities of new regulations and the real impact they have on our clients.” As a Regulatory Analyst and Compliance Project Manager, Brittany will be a critical member of the team responsible for growing The Isosceles Group’s Regulatory Compliance initiatives, including country protocols, audit checklists, legal registers, quarterly reports and regulatory alerts. Each of these regulatory compliance resources requires extensive research and analysis. As technology makes access to this information more readily available, the analysis becomes even more important for those companies that wish to stay on top of the ever-changing legal landscape. Brittany has a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a JD from Pace Law School, where she also earned a Certificate in Environmental Law. She served as the Chair of the American Bar Association’s Energy & Natural Resources Litigation Committee and is a member of the Waste and Resource Recovery, International Environmental Law, and Water Quality and Wetlands Committees. You can reach her by phone at (617) 330-2800 or by email at bpalmer@theisogroup.com.
