Business Continuity and Risk Management

Business Continuity plans (sometimes referred to as Business Interruption, or "BI") apply the concepts of Risk Management to a business, to identify and quantify both internal and external risks to a process or facility. Business Continuity plans are a way to try and ensure that incidents such as small fires, minor floods, or supplier difficulties do not have a significant impact on a business. Good Business Continuity planning means that there will be essentially no noticeable impact to your customers.

Business Continuity planning also means that a thorough review of all hazardous processes is undertaken to help quantify and identify those risks that exist in current operations in a manner that can be controlled.

Isosceles staff have worked on Business Continuity plans for clients ranging from large international manufacturers, to smaller service-related businesses. In conjunction with insurance providers, we work to quantify hazards and threats; formulate a response plan; identify key people, equipment, and suppliers.
