Germany introduced the Federal Climate Protection Law and changed a series of regulations. The law standardizes national, European, and international climate protection goals. The amendment aims, to incorporate a system of resource recovery and waste reduction that protects the natural environment and human health, fosters the continued growth and development of the circular economy and minimizes greenhouse gas emissions resulting from resource recovery activities and waste reduction activities. The Regulation makes consequential amendments to sections 2(a), 2(c), and 2(d). Amendments concern the directed authority of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency to plan, investigate and test allowances under the Act.
