Germany introduced the Federal Climate Protection Law and changed a series of regulations. The law standardizes national, European, and international climate protection goals. The law further amends Appendix 5 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Act and details the establishment of the "Energy and Climate Fund.” Amendments to regulations involve the following subject areas:
