South Korea has made amendments to the Rules for Occupational Safety and Health Standards. The amendments mainly deal with lifts and replacement machines. It changes Article 415(1) to require employers to take certain measures when using these machines, such as installing handles to prevent slipping, installing safety rails and ladders, and providing information to workers on proper use.
The amendments took effect on May 19, 2019.
